Robotics Team
Two Lego Robotics teams (middle school and high school) compete in a December meet to build robotics projects. The team is sponsored by local IBM-employed parents, who coach the students after school once a week from September through December.
Math Teams
Math Masters, 5th and 6th grade
While Math Masters is offered to qualifying students in grades 1-6, grades 5 and 6 field teams which compete in the Southeast Minnesota meets in the spring, typically involving 25-35 area teams. Math Masters teams are coached by parent volunteers.
Math Counts, 7th and 8th grade
Participants in grades 7-8 are offered a spot on this team after qualifying testing. They generally meet once a week for practice in the fall and winter months and compete with other Minnesota state teams.
Math League, 9th- 12th grade
Math League is a competitive, high school team (grades 9-12) which competes monthly with other Minnesota schools. Participants must qualify for the team through testing.
