The Upper School Band consists of students in grades 7-12, and is taken as an elective.  They perform multiple times each year, particularly at the Christmas and Spring Concerts. 

 

A Jazz Band has been added for students of high ability, along with a string ensemble. Future plans include a full orchestra.

 

Band or string students are charged a fee each semester to participate, which helps cover the cost of music and equipment.  Each student is expected to provide his or her own instrument.  Mrs. Karen Graham, Instrumental Music teacher, also provides one on one lessons for students during the school day as part of the program.
