To promote fellowship and volunteering among the Schaeffer community, we have established the Schaeffer Volunteer Network.  The SVN arranges for fellowship events such as Back to School picnic, provides volunteer help for the twice yearly concerts and Grandparent Day, and runs events such as an annual Garage Sale and Used Uniform Sale.  Funds raised from these events are used for future all-school events, such as providing fried chicken at the Back to School picnic. 

 

To become part of the Schaeffer Volunteer Network, return your volunteer form (sent home annually) to the school office, or leave a message at school at 286-1050.  You will be contacted throughout the year by the person overseeing the event you've volunteered for.  You can also volunteer in your child's classroom by contacting your child's teacher, or volunteer for a specific event or task by contacting Gretchen Steer in the school office at 286-1050.
