At Schaeffer Academy, students learn music theory, history and vocal practice as part of their regular curriculum in seventh, eighth and tenth grades.  Music curriculum in the Upper School is taught by Schaeffer faculty member Mrs. Myrna Holmes, who holds advanced degrees in music performance.  Music in the Lower School is taught by Mrs. Mary Vogel, and is a regular part of each week's studies.

We consider the study of music an integral part of a classical, Christian education, for it expands our students' grasp of Beauty, one of the permanent truths taught at Schaeffer Academy.
