The Lower School Band is a great way for student to get introduced to the basics of playing in an instrumental group, and provides experience prior to entering the Upper School Band in grade 7.  Students may begin band in fourth grade, and meet twice weekly for practices.    Students are charged a fee to participate each semester, which covers the cost of music and equipment.  They are also expected to provide their own instruments.  Private lessons at an additional cost are available from the Band Director.

 

The Lower School Band performs at least twice yearly, at the Christmas and Spring concerts.
