Under the excellent direction of Schaeffer faculty Mrs. Myrna Holmes, the Upper School Choir has grown rapidly in ability and size over the past three years.  One of our most popular electives, the choir includes 40-50 students, who perform classical repertoire at the Christmas and Spring Concerts.  

 

Choir students learn technique and musical history, as well as stage presentation.  We request that students who take Upper School Choir as an elective do so both first and second semesters.  Choir students also participate in at least one music festival, the ACSI Choral Festival in March, as well as the MSHSL choral ensemble competition.
